Chinese New Year in America

In New York, the parade goes through Chinatown with firecrackers, lion dancers, and 600,000 spectators. In every city with a Chinatown, the New Year is celebrated with dumplings, red envelopes, and the knowledge that the old year is done and the new one is beginning.
