Canjica
White corn simmered in coconut milk and cinnamon until it becomes the dessert that defines Festa Junina. Canjica is also called mungunza in the Northeast and this naming debate is older than the recipe. You eat it hot, you eat it cold, you eat it at midnight standing by the fogueira.
