La Navidad liberiana es un día de iglesia, un día de familia y un día de comida. El servicio religioso es a la medianoche del 24, y los cantos son en inglés y en los idiomas locales. La comida navideña incluye arroz jollof, pollo frito, hojas de yuca, hojas de papa y pastel de batata. Los niños reciben regalos, generalmente ropa y zapatos, y los adultos intercambian visitas. La Navidad no se trata de regalos. Se trata de presencia, y la tradición es visitar a cada pariente que tienes el Día de Navidad. Christmas in Oman

Oman is a Muslim country (approximately 95% of the population is Muslim), and Christmas is not a public holiday. The day is a normal working day, and there are no public Christmas celebrations. The only signs of Christmas are in the hotels that cater to Western expats, where a tree is set up in the lobby, and in the churches of the Protestant and Catholic compounds in Muscat, where services are held for the expatriate community. Oman's tradition of religious tolerance : the Ibadi school is known for its moderation : means that Christian worship is permitted, and the Sultan has donated land for churches.
