El fin del Ramadán. En Irak, la celebración comienza con la oración del Eid en la mezquita, seguida de visitas familiares, ropa nueva y la distribución del Eidi (dinero de regalo) a los niños. La mesa del Eid iraquí incluye kleicha (pastelitos rellenos de dátil), y cada familia tiene una receta que es mejor que la de sus vecinos. Ramadan in Niger

Ramadan in Niger is a month of fasting, prayer, and community. The iftar (breaking of the fast) begins with dates and water, followed by rice with meat sauce, and the traditional Nigerien tea (the three cups: bitter, sweet, and smooth). The mosques are full during Ramadan, and the Taraweeh prayers are attended by men and women alike. In the villages, the imam wakes the community for the suhur (pre-dawn meal) by walking through the streets with a drum, calling out: "Wake up, wake up, the night is short and the day is long!" The month ends with Eid al-Fitr, and the celebration is three days of feasting, visiting, and gift-giving.
