La Navidad liberiana es un día de iglesia, un día de familia y un día de comida. El servicio religioso es a la medianoche del 24, y los cantos son en inglés y en los idiomas locales. La comida navideña incluye arroz jollof, pollo frito, hojas de yuca, hojas de papa y pastel de batata. Los niños reciben regalos, generalmente ropa y zapatos, y los adultos intercambian visitas.
