Der Porteño geht schnell, redet schneller und kennt jede Abkürzung in der Hauptstadt. Die Stadt ist Buenos Aires, der Rest ist „el Interior", und der Porteño wird den Obelisco, das Corralito der Buchhandlungen an der Corrientes und das Recht verteidigen, um 2 Uhr nachts Pizza mit Fainá zu essen. „Porteño" kommt von puerto, dem Hafen, und der Haltung, die damit einhergeht.
