Coast Guard Day

The Coast Guard was founded on August 4, 1790. It is the smallest of the five armed forces and the one most Americans forget. The Coast Guard rescues an average of 22 people per day. They do this in every kind of weather, in every kind of water, with equipment that is older than the people operating it. They do not make movies about the Coast Guard. They should.
