Fluffernutter Day

The fluffernutter is a sandwich made with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff on white bread. It was invented in Massachusetts, where marshmallow fluff has been manufactured since 1917. In 2006, a Massachusetts state senator proposed making the fluffernutter the state sandwich. The bill did not pass, which is a failure of democracy.
