Hajj Season
In the weeks before and after Eid al-Adha, Qatar organizes Hajj flights, medical teams, and logistical support for the thousands of Qatari pilgrims traveling to Mecca. The Ministry of Awqaf broadcasts daily Hajj guidance on radio and television, and community organizations hold pre-departure orientation sessions. For those who remain in Qatar, Eid al-Adha is celebrated with the sacrifice, family gatherings, and charitable giving. The Hajj is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, and Qatar takes pride in facilitating the journey for its citizens and residents. . 2026: Jun 7. 2027: May 27.
