The birthday of Andres Bonifacio, the founder of the Katipunan, the secret society that launched the Philippine Revolution against Spain in 1896. Bonifacio was a warehouse worker from Tondo, not a wealthy landowner like Aguinaldo. He is called the "Supremo" and is revered as the leader of the common people. The Bonifacio Monument in Caloocan is the traditional site of the ceremony.
