Yawm al-Naksa

The anniversary of the 1967 Naksa : the setback : when Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem in the Six-Day War. A second wave of displacement followed. The day is observed with rallies, protests, and the reminder that the occupation is now in its sixth decade. The Naksa is the second founding trauma of the Palestinian people.
