Trettendedag Jul

The thirteenth day of Christmas marks the end of the Christmas season in Norway, and the tradition is to take down the Christmas tree and store the decorations for another year. The day commemorates the arrival of the three wise men, and church services are held across the country. In rural communities, the day was historically the last chance for Christmas feasting, and the remnants of the holiday table are finished.
