Festa ta' San Pietru u San Pawl

The feast of St Peter and St Paul is celebrated in the village of Nadur on Gozo, and the celebration includes a procession, fireworks, and the traditional meal of lampuki pie (fish pie). The lampuki (mahi-mahi) is the most popular fish in Malta, and the lampuki season (August to December) is one of the most important events of the year. The lampuki pie is made with lampuki, spinach, cauliflower, and a pastry crust. The feast is also celebrated in the village of Mgarr on Malta, and the tradition is to race the "dgajsa" (traditional Maltese rowing boats) in the harbour.
