The feast of St Lawrence is celebrated in the village of Vittoriosa, and the celebration includes a procession, fireworks, and the traditional meal of rabbit stew. Vittoriosa is one of the Three Cities, and the church of St Lawrence was the first church built by the Knights of St John after they arrived in Malta in 1530.
