The Basotho blanket becomes a gift of love: a man will give his beloved a Seanamarena blanket, the finest quality blanket with the most intricate patterns. The Seanamarena pattern, featuring the iconic corn cob design, signifies fertility and prosperity, and it is the most prized blanket a woman can receive.
