Sardar Jangal
Commemorating the Jangali movement leader who fought against the Russian and British occupation of Gilan. In Rasht and the Caspian coast, he is a local hero. The day is marked with ceremonies, and the Gilaki people remember the man who tried to establish a socialist republic in the north.
