Baisakhi
The wheat is golden, the fields are endless, and the farmers are cutting the crop that will feed the nation. Baisakhi is the Sikh new year and the harvest festival of Punjab. The gurdwaras are full, the langar is running, and the bhangra dancers are spinning in the fields. The dhol beat is audible from a kilometer away. The wheat is being harvested, the sun is bright, and Punjab is home. . Fixed, Apr 14.
