Dia de San Jose

Nameday for Jose, which in Honduras means half the men you know. Every Jose gets a call, a cake, and a party. The panaderias sell out of tres leches by noon. The joke is that if you shout "Jose!" in a crowded room, half the men turn around.

Animals of Barbados Day

You visit Barbados where you spot green monkeys, Barbados threadsnakes, frigatebirds, and sea turtles. You notice that Barbadian families typically keep dogs, cats, and tropical fish as household pets. ACADA celebrates the world's pets, and helps assure better care.
