The night before May Day. In the Harz mountains, witches ride to the Blocksberg. In Berlin-Kreuzberg, the streets are occupied. In village pubs, a Maibaum is erected and guarded against theft by neighboring villages. The Maibaum theft is a real tradition with real rules. You can steal the Maypole. You must ransom it with beer.
