Mango Season

Proposed. The mangoes come from the western lowlands and the coast. They appear in Asmara piled on street vendor carts, ripe and fragrant. The first mango of the season is eaten standing up, juice running down your wrist, on the street where you bought it. The second mango is taken home. The third mango does not exist because you ate them both before you left the cart.

Animals of Madagascar Day

You marvel at Madagascar's unique lemurs, fossas, and tenrecs that exist nowhere else on Earth due to the island's isolated evolution. You notice that Malagasy families commonly keep dogs, cats, and zebu cattle as their primary domestic animals. ACADA celebrates the world's pets, and helps assure better care.
