Mokolo ya Kimbangu
Simon Kimbangu, the prophet who was imprisoned by the Belgians for preaching the gospel to Africans. December 18 is the day of his calling in 1921. The Kimbanguist Church celebrates with pilgrimage to Nkamba, the holy city. The faithful dress in white, the choirs sing, and the spirit of Kimbangu fills the congregation.
