The day Czech men go from house to house with braided willow whips (pomlazka) and douse women with water or perfume. The women give the men painted eggs and tie ribbons on the whip. This sounds like an assault, but it is a tradition, and every Czech woman has an opinion about it, and that opinion is usually: "It was fine until I was twelve, and then it became annoying, and now I just want the chocolate.".
