Jour du Kituba

The national language that most Congolese people speak before they speak French. Kituba, also called Munukutuba, was born from Kikongo but simplified and spread by trade, by the railway, by daily life. It is the language of the market, the street, and the taxi. If Lingala is the music, Kituba is the conversation.
