Jour du Bacongo
The neighborhood that gave Congo the sapeurs. Bacongo is wide avenues, grand ceremonies, and men walking like the street is a runway. Every major sapeur procession starts here. The compound houses are immaculate, the children are dressed in colors that coordinate, and the elders sit on verandas watching the world walk by with perfect posture. Bacongo does not do ordinary.
