Jour du Ndolo

Traditional Congolese wrestling. Not the staged kind. The real kind, where two men grip each other by the wrapper and the first one thrown to the dirt loses. Entire neighborhoods gather, the betting is fierce, the drumming is loud, and the champion becomes a legend until the next match. Ndolo is sport, theater, and community gathering all in one sandy ring.
