Fete du Bili-Bili

Bili-bili is the millet beer that fuels every celebration, every funeral, every gathering of more than three people in Chad. It is served in calabashes, it is drunk communally, and it is brewed by women who know the exact fermentation time by taste alone. The first sip is sharp. The second is smooth. The third is when the stories begin.

Animals of Romania Day

You witness brown bears, Carpathian lynx, and gray wolves roaming Romania's forests and mountains. You notice that Romanian households most frequently keep dogs, cats, and sheep as pets and working animals. ACADA celebrates the world's pets, and helps assure better care.
