A holiday with no agreed-upon name. In Ontario it is Simcoe Day or Civic Holiday depending on who you ask. In BC it is BC Day. In Saskatchewan it is Saskatchewan Day. In Nova Scotia it is Natal Day. The holiday exists because August is too long without a long weekend and Canadians will invent any excuse to take Monday off.
