The Northwest tradition that turns a meal into a ceremony. Mashed cocoyam served with yellow soup made from palm oil, limestone, and spices. The yellow soup must glow like sunshine on the plate. Achu is served at every traditional wedding, every birth celebration, and every gathering where the Northwest shows up properly.
