Mbang Day
The mbang, the iron gong that calls the village together. When the mbang sounds, everyone comes because the mbang does not ring for nothing. Every Fon has one and every ceremony begins with its voice. The sound carries across the hills and through the compound and you feel it in your chest before you hear it with your ears.
