Cambodian weddings go on for two days with multiple outfit changes, elaborate ceremonies, and enough food to feed the entire village. The groom processes through the street carrying gifts on trays, the bride changes costumes three or four times, and the whole event is loud, joyful, and expensive. Nobody complains about the cost because a wedding is not a private event, it is a community celebration.
