The Reamker, the Khmer version of the Ramayana, carved into the walls of Angkor Wat and performed in dance, shadow puppet, and theater for centuries. Every Cambodian knows the story of Preah Ream and Sita, even if they have never read a single page. The tale is told through dance, through murals, through grandmother's stories at bedtime.
