Ikawa y'uBurundi

Burundi grows some of the finest specialty coffee in the world, floral and bright, sought after by roasters from Oslo to Tokyo. Most Burundians have never tasted their own coffee because they drink tea instead. The best beans leave the country and the farmers who grow them pour imported tea in their cups. The irony is not lost on anyone but the money is too good to stop exporting.
