Sunday in Burundi means church in the morning, then ubugari and meat sauce at noon, and sleeping through the afternoon heat while the children play outside. The whole country moves slower on Sunday and that is exactly how it should be. Any Burundian who tells you Sunday is not the best day of the week is not being honest with you.
