A litre of petrol costs less than a bottle of water and Bruneians fill up for pocket change without thinking about it. The oil beneath the ground pays for the petrol, the housing, the hospitals, and the fact that nobody here files a tax return. Ask any Bruneian what income tax feels like and they will genuinely not know.
