The Temburong Bridge, the longest in Southeast Asia, finally connected the "other side" to the rest of Brunei without a ferry. Before the bridge, Temburong was a boat ride away and felt like another country. Now it is a drive, but Temburong people still call BSB "the other side" and BSB people still say they are going "across.".
