The birthday party brigadeiro rolled in chocolate sprinkles at the kitchen table by your mother is the only real brigadeiro. The gourmet version with sea salt and truffle oil is delicious but it is a dessert, a statement, a project. Every Brazilian knows the difference and nobody says it out loud at the fancy party.
