Chibuku Day
Chibuku, also called "shake shake," is the sorghum beer sold in cartons that you must shake before opening. It is thick, it is sour, and it is the drink of every shebeen and every gathering where the real talk happens. You drink it from the carton, you pass it to the next person, and the conversation goes where the beer takes it.
