Mokoro Day
The mokoro (dugout canoe) is how you move through the Okavango Delta, standing at the back with a ngashi (pole) and pushing through channels of crystal water past hippos and reeds. Every Motswana knows the Delta is not just for tourists in lodges. It is home, it is livelihood, and it is the reason the north feels like a different country entirely.
