Virgen de Copacabana
The patroness of Bolivia, honored at her sanctuary on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Pilgrims walk for days to reach Copacabana, some on their knees for the final stretch. The Virgen Morena, carved by Tito Yupanqui in the 1500s, watches over the lake and the nation with dark skin and infinite patience.
