Dzong Nyi
The dzong, those massive fortress-monasteries that double as administrative centers and monastic quarters, are the architectural soul of Bhutan. Built without nails, without blueprints, using only the knowledge passed from master builder to apprentice. Every dzong has a secret room, a hidden passage, or a story about how the architect saw the design in a dream. The Trongsa Dzong, stretching along a ridge like a sleeping dragon, is the one that makes every Bhutanese person whisper when they see it.
