Poisson Grill Gbe
Grilled fish on the beaches of Cotonou and Ouidah, seasoned with a marinade of onion, tomato, chili, and local herbs, then cooked over open charcoal. The fisherman catches it in the morning, the vendor grills it at noon, and you eat it with your fingers by the ocean. Attieke on the side, a cold drink, and sand between your toes.
