Menonait Day
The Mennonites of Spanish Lookout, Blue Creek, and Shipyard who farm, build, and supply much of Belize's poultry, dairy, and furniture. Their communities run on discipline and faith, the women wear head coverings and long dresses, and their hardware stores are where every Belizean goes for building supplies. They came in the 1950s and they are Belizean now.
