Lambiek en Geuzedag
Lambic beer is fermented with wild yeast in the open air of the Senne valley, then blended into gueuze or flavored with fruit for kriek. Cantillon in Brussels still brews it the old way and the smell of the mash hits you before you walk through the door. Gueuze tastes like nothing else on earth: sour, dry, and fizzy, and once you understand it, every other beer feels simple.
