Pineapple Fest Season

Marking the start of the famous Eleuthera Pineapple Festival season and the sweet, golden pineapples that grow in the red soil of Gregory Town. Bahamians know Eleuthera pineapples are sweeter than anything from a can or a foreign farm, and the festival brings the whole island out for pineapple cake, pineapple punch, and a whole lot of bragging. You bite into one and the juice runs down your chin and you do not even care.
