Coolangatta Gold Day
Named after the iconic surf lifesaving race on the Gold Coast. Every surf club from Bondi to Cottesloe raises a glass to the nippers and ironmen who keep the flags up and the swimmers between them. The nippers are eight years old and already doing things that would make a landlocked adult weep.
