Andorra is the only co-principality in the world. The French President and the Bishop of Urgell share the title and have done so since 1278. It is absurd, ancient, and it works. The arrangement kept Andorra independent for 700 years while kingdoms rose and fell around it. Today celebrates the weirdness that saved a country.
