Andorra's network of mountain refuges is how hikers survive the high country. Free, basic, and maintained by volunteers who carry supplies up on their backs. The refuge keepers are legends in the hiking community. They know every trail, every weather pattern, and every story the mountains have told. Today, thank a refuge keeper and sleep in a place where the stars have no light competition.
